Mountain Ash Pottery is situated in the foothills of Mt. Coramba, 15 minutes west of Coffs Harbour. The potters are Susan, David and Sara Massey.

Susan has a Diploma of Fine Art from Deakin University (Warrnambool Branch in Victoria) Graduating in 1980, specializing in the wheel throwing and design work in the business. David has a Degree in Science from Latrobe University (Victoria) Graduating in 1981 specializing in glaze formulations and kiln firings. Sara specializes in the handbuilding & carving of the Australian Wildlife animals she also handpaints the products and assists in finishing off of items.

Working in Stoneware, Porcelain and Terracotta they have spent years exploring the versatility of clay, texture, shape and form, formulating glazes of rare beauty with unique modern hand painted decoration to the more traditional Chinese and Japanese designs.
